Review: Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits
People go crazy over Kylie Jenner’s liquid lipsticks! They used to get sold out in a matter of minutes! But is it really worth the craze?
I bought the Kristen lip kit which is kind of a strawberry red type of color (more pink than red). Here are swatches:
I like that it’s a nice color and the pigmentation is great. It’s a unique color with a very pleasant scent. The lip liner is creamy and glides on easily.
I don’t like that it isn’t very long wearing and that it is drying. I know that liquid lipsticks generally ARE drying but the Kylie liquid lipsticks are more drying than other liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. After wearing this lipstick for a while it gets a little patchy on my lips (some parts more pigmented then others). I will say however, I don’t reapply my makeup throughout the day. So if you’re someone who does, then this might not be an issue for you.
Is this a MUST HAVE? Honestly, for $29.00 plus shipping (comes up to a little over $40.00 w/ shipping in the US) I wouldn’t purchase another one. But it’s nice to have one as a collectible. 🙂
