Everyone that uses this foundation claims it’s so full coverage – like the queen of all full coverage foundations! That’s why I was so excited to finally try it! I’m late to the game, I know, but better late then never, right?

This foundation claims to be matte, to stop shine, hide blemishes, and stop discoloration. It’s also supposed to last for 24 hours!

I tried this foundation when I went to Disney and it was hot & humid outside – 90 degrees hot! I think this is the ultimate test because I was out for almost twelve hours in Florida heat which is no joke! Let’s delve right into the review now!

I’ve always thought Kat Von D’s designs were so beautiful and artsy. This foundation would look gorgeous on top your vanity. I think her designs are honestly one of the best in sephora!

I like that this foundation is a liquid, rather than a cream because it’s easier to blend out. It’s hard to match my skin color exactly so this one is a little too yellow-y but it’s okay because I love to look golden! I’d rather it be too yellow-y than too orange-y you know?

I also think it does hide like 97% of my blemishes! One of my acne marks was extremely dark and that one wasn’t covered but all of the rest were! It really is extremely full coverage! I don’t have too much discoloration on my face or redness so I can’t really comment on that.

Another important factor for me when reviewing foundations is: how well will other products layer on top of it?

Concealers, bronzers, blushes, and highlights sit really well on this foundation and it doesn’t look cakey. With some matte foundations, extra layers can look really dry and caked but I didn’t notice that here. Also, the foundation is not so extra matte that it’s drying – so if you have dry skin I think you’ll love it too!

Let’s talk longevity now.

Anyone that lives in FL and has oily skin knows that wearing makeup outdoors in this weather is a real struggle. I was honestly pleasantly surprised that my makeup lasted as long as it did! I started getting ready from like 8 in the morning and it only started to get oily around like 7 o clock at night! That’s a full 11 HOURS! INCREDIBLE!!

One last thing I want to mention is that it photographs beautifully!! Like honestly it looks very pretty and smooth in pictures! See below for a pic of me wearing this foundation!

I’d rate this a 9.99/10. It is my second favorite foundation. I’ll probably never tell my first favorite foundation though. A girl’s gotta have some beauty secrets right?
