Huda Beauty Eyeshadow Palette – Worth the Hype?

Hi everyone!
I was SO excited when I got my Huda Beauty Rose-Gold Eyeshadow Palette! Her fake eyelashes are AMAZING so my expectations of this was so high.. especially with all of the hype on social media!

So did this palette live up to the hype?!

Lets start off with the textured shadows. They are truly like nothing I’ve ever seen before! They kind of give a foiled effect when applied with your fingers. I’ve never seen a shimmery eyeshadow that glides on so smoothly and vividly. It’s like a loose pigment in eyeshadow form. The sparkly eyeshadows are so pigmented and vibrant.

Matte Swatches:

The matte shadows are also pretty perfect! They are easily buildable and blendable. It is very pigmented and it lived up to my expectation! This is easily one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes.

My only critiques are:
-The black eyeshadow is not opaque and pigmented enough for my liking.
-I think the packaging could be a little bit better for the price point.

Other than that… I LOVE this palette!
Suede, Coco and Shy are my favorite mattes! Angelic and rose gold are my favorite shimmers!

As you can see, it gives that foiled effect with a little bit of texture.

I love this so much because you don’t need to use a loose shimmer or MAC fix+
