MAC is a good place to start when it comes to lipsticks because they have such a great range of shades. They basically have every color you could think of. If I ever have a specific shade of lipstick in mind, I always go to MAC first. Anywho, it’s great to build a base of lipsticks from. Here are the five that I think you absolutely need in your life: Ruby Woo Literally the best red. It looks flattering on every skin tone that I have seen. I pair this with a red lip liner I got from Milani. Persuasion / Taupe The perfect nude color. It’s a warm toned nude and I’m sure it’ll look nice on every skin color. Persuasion is a tad bit darker than taupe. I really love to wear this on days where I don’t feel like dressing up my face and just want something plain for everyday. It’s perfect!! If you are my skin color, go check it out … NOW! I like to pair this lippie with “Spice” lip pencil (from MAC). Twig The perfect every day color. Kind of like a toned down berry. It’s waaaayyy more pink with just a hint of berry. It looks good with so many makeup looks! Definitely a must have – hands down! Can be paired with any pink-ish lip liner. Velvet Teddy This one’s a classic – everyone’s heard about this shade I’m sure! I love it because it is a really good pink nude, BUT I recommend trying it in store just to make sure it looks good on your skin tone. I like to pair this with MAC Dervish lip liner. Mehr This a really pretty rose pink shade. It brightens up my face and looks really nice on my skin tone. It’s like a subtle pop of color. Very cute for when you want a subtle pop of color.
