Recently, I’ve seen more and more makeup gurus doing this 1 little trick to help with their makeup, so I decided to try it out. The trick: Spray your beauty blender with setting spray and then use it to blend in your foundation. Here is the video that inspired me to try it out: Carli Bybel’s Full Coverage Foundation Routine I get oily in the cheek area around my nose and it makes my makeup look really weird and not smooth. I didn’t follow everything step by step – I kind of did my own thing but essentially it’s the same trick. What I did Applied my foundation to my skin with a brush and blended it out Wet my beauty blender and then sprayed it with Urban Decay All Nighter Spray Pat the foundation into my skin using my now damp beauty blender Applied my concealers and other liquids Set my face with powder Sprayed the All Nighter Spray all over to lock my makeup in place THEN sprayed it onto my blender and pat in the areas around my nose where I tend to get oily Results My makeup looked really nice. It stayed in place and did not get oily. However I will say that it made my skin feel slightly heavy and made the makeup feel a bit sticky on my skin. It smoothed out the area around my nose. It made my makeup look flawless and last for a long time but I feel that it’s better for full glam days instead of a normal day. Concerns: Would spraying the beauty blender invite more germs? I’m not sure about the All Nighter Spray but I do know that some sprays contain glycerin which may promote more microbial growth. That would mean you’d have to replace the blender more often. Also, is this method too harsh on the skin for every day… will it clog the pores? Do you guys use this method? What are your thoughts? Follow me on Instagram! @sayeedah_

Review | L.A. Girl Pro Concealers
I recently walked into ULTA and saw L.A. Girl Cosmetics for sale there! Is this a new thing or have I just never seen their brand there? I’ve also seen a couple of other new brands at ULTA that I’m excited for! I saw Dose of Colors, Morphe, and Makeup Revolution! I’m so excited to see what else they have in store! Side Note: CVS has also started to sell NYX products..how awesome! Anyways…. I’m really late to hop onto this bandwagon BUT… Why was this product all over Instagram? Well for 1) it’s afforable ($4.99), 2) their shade range is great, and 3) it looks super easy to blend in those little Instagram videos. The brand claims that these HD Pro Concealers give a natural looking coverage while lasting a long time. I bought the shades toast and almond. They have more shades online than they do in store. I found it difficult to find the perfect darker shade for contouring because they didn’t have that many darker shades in store. After swatching “Almond” I can see that it’s definitely way too light for contour on me but I’m still going to keep it. Maybe I can mix it with toast because I think “Toast” is a little too cool toned on me. My skin tone is more of a golden color with yellow undertones so warmer tones tend to look better on me. So what are my thoughts? These are totally a hit! They are lightweight and they do look like skin while still being opaque. Compared to other cream contours I’ve tried, this one is really easy to blend. I don’t know how they work under the eye because I only bought them for contouring. The shade range is pretty good. I don’t know how it holds up on oily skin because I didn’t use the product on my T-zone which is where I normally get oily. I LOVE this product and will totally repurchase when I’m out. Here’s what it looks like on me. Sorry I suck at nose contour – I rarely ever do it. Would you guys like if I did a post all about contour and the products + brushes that I use (maybe a video?). Let me know! **S A L E A L E R T** They are currently buy one get one 40% off at ULTA as well. Just thought…
