Shampoo that looks like juice – how cute! Honestly, that’s one of the reasons I bought Maui Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. The other reason was that it was buy one get one half off at Ulta.

I didn’t even realize all of the other perks of this shampoo:

• Sulfate Free Surfactants
• Vegan
• No silicone
• No parabens
• Made with aloe

This shampoo claims to reduce breakage and leave hair shinyand smooth.

I saw a lot of reviews saying that it left the hair feeling greasy. BUT I think that the trick is to wash the hair twice with shampoo and then one time with conditioner. I do this all the time and it leaves my hair feeling clean. I normally can go 3 days without washing my hair.

Using the two-wash method, the shampoo foams a nice lather which actually doesn’t happen too often with shampoos that don’t have sulfates in them so that was nice. The smell is also a bonus. It’s a nice fresh smell that isn’t too strong. I like that it’s made from natural ingredients. It left my hair with a normal amount of volume.

Conclusions

My hair always dries frizzy so i would say it was like the normal amount of frizziness but i do really like the shampoo and conditioner and think the packaging is really nice. After straightening, my hair looked really nice and healthy BUT it didn’t last as long between washes without getting oily. Since I died my hair black my hair is not really too damaged so I don’t know if it’s effective at reducing breakage or not.

Will I repurchase? Probably not because although it’s great, it’s something I CAN live without and I want to try other things.
