Covering dark circles, redness and hyperpigmentation, Huda Beauty’s Overachiever Concealer ($30) claims to be the concealer for the girl bosses that need their concealer to work as hard as they do! Here’s what it claims: Good for all skin types Full Coverage Cooling Zamac tip Luminous-Matte Finish Ingredients: Green tea: to erase signs of discoloration and stress Jericho rose extract: soothing and moisturizing properties Long-wearing polymers: gives water resistance and transfer free coverage Quite a lot of claims to live upto right? Well here are my thoughts: I liked: Coverage: it’pretty full coverage. I don’t have a lot of dark circles under my eyes because I try to sleep at least 7 hours a night. However, when I use it to conceal my eyebrow growth it does a decent job. I’d say that Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is just a little bit more full coverage though. It does have a matte finish but it’s not too cakey looking like some concealers can look after a while of wearing. Just like the foundation, it leaves your skin looking flawless! The tip is really nice because you can actually feel the cooling sensation! I have oily skin and I would say this worked really well on my skin and it lasted a long time. I got the shade “Cotton Candy” and I think it’s one shade too light for me so I’ll probably get a dark shade next time. Areas for improvement: I actually LOVE this concealer and I don’t think there’s anything that really needs improvement. If you’re into a full coverage look I definitely think you should check this concealer out!! What are some of your favorite full coverage concealers? Let me know in the comments. Oily Girl Things| Benefit POREfessional Primer
Hey guys! It’s been a while since I last posted. I’ve honestly been in a little rut but I’ve started to watch Sazan on YouTube and her warm bubbly personality brought my motivation back! I almost always repurchase my Smashbox primer when I need a new primer. However, this time I decided I wanted to try something new. I’ve seen the Benefit POREfessional primer everywhere so I decided to see if it really was magic The Good: It does what it says it does! It blurs out the pores and makes em almost invisible. Improvements: I don’t think it’s great at prolonging the wear time of my makeup. I notice that I’m still oily after 4 hours so I’ll probably still stick my good ole smashbox primer! While I think this primer is a good option, I also love the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer and think it does a slightly better job at blurring pores! Hope you guys liked my little review! What’s your favorite primer for your skin type? I am slowly starting to get back onto social media- follow my insta to keep up! @sayeedah_ The Amazon links are affiliate links. Cold Weather Cuteness | Fashion Inspiration
If you know me, then you know cold weather is my thing! We recently went to California and I had a bunch of cute sweaters to wear! I recently bought this tweed skirt from SheIn and I couldn’t wait to wear it. Tweed has been back in style for quite some time now. Trends have never really mattered to me but I do feel that tweed is a classic and everyone needs one good tweed item in their closet. I suggest getting a tweed blazer because they look so classy! Anyways, I paired this tweed skirt with a lavender turtleneck shirt from cotton on. I actually got this shirt for $5!! It was originally $25 – what a steal! I can’t find this exact shirt online but I will link something similar in the bottom of this post. This skirt would also look nice with a white shirt. The reason that I say white and not black is because I paired the skirt with black stockings and I think adding a black top would be too much. These are just ordinary stockings that you can find anywhere. I personally like getting my stockings from target because their quality is great and their price is affordable. I honestly wish I knew where I got these boots from but I have no idea. I love them because I think that they can go with any outfit, BUT they don’t stay up my leg. They come with the laces on the back so you can tie them to your thigh and I always tie them super tight but they still never stay up! Anyways – I’ve linked similar styles above for you guys and I hope you enjoy them!
