BH Cosmetics is known for their affordable eye shadows. I never knew they even sold brushes. After doing some research on good brushes (I was specifically looking for a lip brush), I came across their sets. They were 50% off at the time so I figured I might as well try it. I purchased the Metal Rose Makeup Brush set. This set comes with 11 brushes. I can honestly say that these brushes surpassed my expectations. I wasn’t expecting them to be such great quality for the price point but it honestly is! They’re one of my favorite brush brands, second to Real Techniques. I think these brushes even beat Morphe brushes! Face Brushes: Soft and dense, but not too dense. Just perfect! It feels so nice on the skin and blends out makeup beautifully. Eye Brushes: Honestly my favorite blending brushes of all time! The flat brushes are also great for precision eyeshadow! Lip Brush: Tight enough to fill in the lips as precisely as possible. L’Oréal Voluminous Mascara – Carbon Black By the way everyone raves about this product I thought it would be amazing and better than my holy grail (Too Faced BTS), but it isn’t. It IS a good mascara for volume – but not for length. CoverGirl has equally great mascaras. Makeup Forever Skin Equalizer Primer Doesn’t control my oil so makeup longevity decreases. Might be better for someone with dry skin. Don’t notice a smoothing effect. NUME Curling Wands I have the set with 3 barrels (big, medium, small). Hair doesn’t hold a curl very long with these Temperature keeps fluctuating The one pro is that my hair does look shiny when I use this product. Soap and Glory Body Butter and Shower Gel I expected this to be amazing because it’s raved about so much. Quality is okay – there’s nothing AMAZING about it but the scent I think Bath and Body Works is comparable or maybe even better. Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kits Hard to blend, don’t recommend for beginners The yellow colored concealer is a little harsh for most skin tones Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kits Don’t use this product alone as just a powder contour because after a couple hours the product will separate and be very patchy on the face (oily skin). Works better on top of a cream concealer. Mist with Fix+. I like the cool toned contour color to carve out my cheekbones. Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits Pigmentation is good BUT WAY TOO DRYING for the price point Gets patchy during the day Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Expected more from this product because of the price I wasn’t WOW-ed by it Similar effects to chapstick Colour Pop Matte Liquid Lipsticks Extremely drying LOVE their lippie stix (Rayezor is my fave) just not their ultra mattes Urban Decay Glitter Liner and Single Shadows Liner: not enough sparkle, thin, need to build up intensity Would use NYX liner instead because it’s cheaper and has more glitter Shadows: again, not enough sparkle, fall out is crazy If you’re looking for a shimmery finish as opposed to a glitter finish then this would be great for you. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer This is the first concealer that I’ve ever tried for highlighting and it is PERFECT! It is full coverage (will cover acne marks) yet lightweight and it blends out easily! Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer One of my favorites! Beautiful color (kind of warm but not too warm) – will look nice on many skin tones. I use medium/deep. MAC Cosmetics Give Me Sun Bronzer If you haven’t tried this, what are you doing with your life? But seriously, THE BEST BRONZER! You need this in your life. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara My holy grail. Haven’t tried anything better. Don’t need too. Ben Nye Translucent Setting Powders Love using this on those nights that I want to look extra special. I use the “Pretty Pink” color because it gives me that “bright and blushing” type of look that I love. Don’t worry it’s not crazy pink – just has a subtle pink hue. Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter I apply it onto my face and blend it in with my fingers and it blends beautifully. Perfect for a subtle glow. I like it because it looks like I’m glowing from within. Powder highlighters can be layered on top for extra glow! Smashbox Photo Primer I honestly do see a difference in my pictures when I use this primer. It smooths out my face while also helping to control the amount of oil that peaks through my makeup during the day Huda Beauty Eyelashes A little pricey but worth it Order from Sephora’s website for cheaper shipping $ You may think all eye lashes are the same, but trust me, when you use her eye lashes that will definitely change. They are amazing! My favorites are Samantha, Giselle, and Sasha. Hourglass Blushes B E A U T I F U L The blush that I have – ethereal glow – has really fine sparkles in it (but doesn’t make your face sparkly) and it is so pretty! Dying to try their strobe lighting powders! Elegant packaging Tarte “Tarteist” Clay Paint Liner This is jet black and super matte! Literally the most matte eyeliner I’ve tried!
