How to Conceal Eyebrow Growth

Can you imagine the horror of growing your eyebrows out… only to find out that BOTH of your eyebrow spots are closed?!? It’s okay guys, SuperSparklySayeedah to the rescue!

The perfect brow shape can be difficult to naturally achieve. My eyebrows have been a disaster for so long – I just can’t find an eyebrow person I really love. Unfortunately, that means I grow my brows out a lot more than I’d like (usually for a month at time – which is NOT CUTE!) It just looks messy and bushy and unkept. So how exactly do I get my brows to look super neat when they are actually super gross?

WITH MAKEUP (duh)! The power of makeup is amazing you guys!

Before I’ve concealed and groomed my brows

Step 1: Fill in your brows.

DO NOT fill in the growth. Just fill in your eyebrows in the shape that you like/desire and leave the growth untouched. I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in the color chocolate.

Step 2: Add foundation to the perimeter of the brows.

This includes the growth that you want to cover up. Make sure it is a FULL COVERAGE foundation! It needs to be strong enough to cover those brow hairs!

Step 3: Add concealer on top of the area that you put foundation.

The concealer has to be something that’s your skin color, full coverage, and something that’s used to cover acne marks (not for highlighting). This way you get more pigment to conceal the growth. I use MAC NC42 concealer for this step.

Step 4: Add a matte highlighting concealer.

Again, make sure it’s FULL COVERAGE. I use NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the color Custard and blend in. Your brows should be shaped pretty nicely after this.

You can set it with a powder but you don’t have to since the area around the brows typically doesn’t get oily.

I know this is alot of layering, but honestly, if you have a lot of growth, you need to layer the product for your eyebrows to come out looking nice and neat!

After I’ve concealed and filled them in

You can hardly even tell that all of that growth even existed! <3

**Of course, when my eyebrows are freshly done I DON’T do all of this, cause it is definitely not needed.**

What are your favorite brow products? I like the dip brow pomade but it dries out too quickly.

What a great guide! And good for you for growing out your natural brows. I have really sparse brows naturally and I envy you.
