Eyebrow Transformation and Tips

Not only are eyebrows “in” right now, but they are so important in shaping your face. Eyebrows can literally make or break you!

Ever since I started getting my eyebrows done, I’ve always had uneven eyebrows. One person messed up my eyebrows and they’ve been messed up ever since. When I was younger I also used to pluck my eyebrows and that did NOT end up well (who else has fallen victim to this?)
Here is a picture from those horrible eyebrow days (I apologize for the bad quality):

Besides being uneven, they were so thin and the shape was terrible.

Fast forward a couple of years and this is what they look like now:

You can see that they are still a little uneven but they have come a far way! I know that my eyebrows are nowhere near perfect, but I still wanted to share some tips with you guys!

Tips on eyebrow grooming and maintenance:

  1. Find an eyebrow lady that you like, and stick with that person! Do not let anyone else touch your eyebrows.
  2. Tell your eyebrow lady exactly what you want and how you like your eyebrows.
    • I always tell mine that I want to work on evening out my eyebrows and she works with me and tells me exactly which areas I need to grow out.
  3. Use castor oil to grow out certain areas – I’ve linked the one that I use below (it does work)
  4. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU TWEEZE
    • I only pluck the growth that is farther away from my eyebrows, just to CLEAN my eyebrows.
    • I NEVER ATTEMPT TO SHAPE MY OWN EYEBROWS
      • Trust me, you might think you know what you are doing, but all it takes is one wrong pluck for you to mess it all up.
  5. Filling in brows:
    • Pencil=more natural and more control
    • Pomade=darker and more defined, less fine control
      • I personally use Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate
        • It is my favorite!! It’s crazy because I never used to fill my brows in but now I feel so weird if I don’t!
        • It has some red undertones so it isn’t too dark/deep of a brown but still rich enough for my tan/brown complexion

In other news:
—MAC just came out with eyeshadow palettes!! So excited! They have like THE best pigmentation!

Best wishes. Really nice eyes. Brown eyes often portray a softness or kindness. I suppose genetically they are the most abundant. The size of the eyes can hold an intelligence. Next time you are with a horse look in its eyes and you will see wisdom, power, and healing. They are so intelligent yet keep working anyway whether people recognize it in the creature or not. My father is color blind yet he has an amazing sort of blue eyes

Aww thank you! I love horses! Being around them makes me feel so calm. So sorry that your father is color blind but I bet his eyes are amazing! Blue eyes are so pretty!

Try arguing with him about what he sees. We are predominantly Scottish…. I don’t suggest pity 😅 Hit the nail on the head with the peacefulness of horses. I guess that is wisdom for me because there is a strength there and an ability to serve. Man and horse together is the Centaur. Civilizations have been built with this partnership between humanity and horses. I have been friends with horses since I was about 12. Like all animals they read and guage people very well.

I really enjoyed reading this post, because when I was younger I didn’t really do anything to my eyebrows. Once I really started experimenting with makeup and when I had my makeup professionally done. The make-up artist, told me that you can’t neglect your eyebrows, they because they frame your face. I’ve been a victim of plucking too much as well lol it was a horrible sight! Thank you for tip about the castor oil, I’ll be sure to remember that! Great post!!❤

Basically, I trust no one to pluck my eyebrows so I do it myself. I’m not good at it so I just pluck the strays and don’t shape them at all as I already like my natural brows. Thanks for all these tips! I heard that castor oil works wonders and I’m actually on my fifth day on using it!

So lucky to have great natural brows! I’ve been struggling with mine for forever!! It’s hard to find someone you can actually trust with them! I hate when my eyebrows don’t come out the way I like 🙁 and you’re welcome! Hope you end up loving the castor oil! Thank you for reading!
