Top Tourist-y Things to do in NYC
There is no place in the world like Manhattan – it’s one of my favorite places for the shopping, the food, and the vibes! My sister and I visit almost every year! Our favorite time to visit is in the fall/winter because the weather is so nice! A lot of people go in December to see the tree and the holiday decor, so it’s very crowded.
Here are my top picks for a quick trip to NYC!
1) Max Brenner & Angelina & Levain

Okay, I know Max Brenner was all over socials for a while. While this has died down over the past couple of years it is still so worth it. Every thing is amazing. A chocolate lover’s dream! Recently we went to Angelina’s and its also amazing. The hot chocolate is a must and so is the French toast! Levain has one of my favorite cookies that I have not been able to get off my mind – it’s a chocolate chip cookie with walnuts.
2) St Regis or the Plaza Hotel

The St. Regis is so beautifully decorated, you have to see this hotel – one of my favorites! Also, the Plaza Hotel is famous because Home Alone was filmed here. You have to book months in advance to get a reservation here but I would recommend doing so. Without a reservation you cannot get in to see the Holiday decor, which I think is worth it.
3) Shopping on 5th Avenue
Some stores I definitely think you need to visit:
Tiffany’s: floors upon floors of gorgeous jewelry. They also have their blue box cafe which is very insta-worthy

Harry Winston: OMG the jewelry is stunning
Cartier: this was originally the residence of Morton Freeman Plant. If you are ever planning on buying something from Cartier this is the boutique to visit! It was a great experience and the inside is very nice

Bergdorf Goodman: there is no store like this in FL. An absolute gem and must see – especially during the holidays. The decor is amazing.
Sak’s: the holiday displays are amazing and the shopping is great
Macy’s: world’s largest department store, very cool to see
Also: LV, Mango, Zara, Dior, SKIMS
4) Rockefeller Center
A quick walk from 5th Avenue, this is where the infamous tree is located. You can also ice skate here.
Top of the Rock is also very cool
Radio City Music Hall: We saw the Rockettes and it was amazing! Definitely something you should see at least once!

5) See a show on Broadway
We saw Aladdin and it was very entertaining, the auditorium itself was very nice
6) The Vessel at Hudson Yards
This was not open to the public when we went there but it is now.
7) The Oculus
more shopping!

8) New York Public Library
The 2nd largest public library in the US, the architecture is just stunning!

9) The Met
–Gossip girl, need I say more? Haha but seriously it’s beautiful in here!
10) SoHo
Even more shopping, they have really good stores – don’t miss out!
We did the bite beauty lip lab here where we made our own lipstick and that was a fun time!

11) Restoration Hardware
They are a furniture store with a beautiful restaurant and it is definitely worth the trek!
Hope you enjoy my list! What are your favorite spots?
Sincerely,
Sayeedah Juman
