Today’s post will be featuring some of my favorite mascaras! I will usually stick to the products I like the most and not really change things up. Therefore, this isn’t a comprehensive list of every mascara ever, just the ones I’ve tried.

I haven’t included any drug store mascaras in my “best” list but I do like the Maybelline Falsies and the Covergirl mascara in the orange tube.

The BEST

1. Lancome Grandiose

I think this wins the award for the most beautiful bottle I have ever seen! How beautiful is that rose in the center. Aside from beautiful packaging, this mascara looks so great on. If it comes between volume and length, I’d always choose volume and this definitely delivers on volume! Definitely worth it!

2. Lancome Hypnose

This great for lengthening and volume! I swear I can get my lashes up to my eyebrows if I use a few coats of this! My lashes look great and not clumpy but still volumized when I wear this.

3. Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint

Almost as good as Too Faced Better Than Sex (BTS)! I have a review on this mascara here

4. Too faced BTS

I honestly don’t think I’ve found a mascara that I like more than this one. It’s still my holy grail. Have you guys found a mascara that you like more than this? I like a clumpy lash and I feel like this gives me everything I want out of a mascara! LOVE LOVE LOVE x 5 million!

5. Too faced Damn Girl

Okay the packaging on this is so cute! I love it so much! I got the trial sized version of this and I love the wand and how much volume it gives! If you hate the clumpiness of the Too Faced Better Than Sex then try this and let me know how you like it!

The “Just OK”

This category is for the mascaras that have been so hyped up but don’t actually live up to that hype

1. Dior Diorshow

When I was younger I couldn’t fathom spending $30 on a mascara but I heard such rave reviews on this so when I actually got a job I decided to try it… and honestly it’s so overhyped. Everyone seems to love this mascara for some reason but it doesn’t do anything amazing for me. I find that it gives a more wearable, everyday type of look. I’ve even tried it with the maximizer and I’m still not fond of it. I wear this to work because it looks natural, is long lasting, and easy to remove.

2. Fenty Beauty Full Frontal Volume

Please tell me that I’m not the only one who didn’t like this mascara? Basically every influencer was raving about this! I tried it and it was so meh.

You have to really put work in for this product to actually look good . I’m talking 3-5 swipes and really wigglin it in. I don’t have time for that. I have about 10 minutes to put on my makeup in the morning and 5 of those minutes cannot be wasted on mascara. I will say that if you put in the effort the length is really nice that it gives. I wouldn’t call it voluminous though.

3. Huda Beauty

Okay, I know this is like a cult favorite and I generally pretty much like everything that she comes out with. The wand for the curl side of the mascara is like nothing I’ve ever tried. It is AMAZING! The best for length and curl ever! However, the volume side isn’t enough for me. I like a clumpy lash and this just doesn’t do it for me.

This is also ridiculously hard to remove. I literally have taken my lashes out trying to remove this mascara. I used the Clinique Take the Day Off Balm and the Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover and I still cannot take all the mascara off.

4. L’Oreal Telescopic

I know everyone loves this mascara but I don’t! Something about their mascara just irritates my eyes so much and I can’t wait to take it off at night. I literally will rub my fingers together through my lashes at night because it’s just so irritating. I also didn’t like the Lash Paradise and don’t find this comparable to Too Faced Better Than Sex.
