I think halo’s have got to be one of the prettiest trends in makeup! They are so beautiful yet so simple to do! I’ve created a chocolatey halo that can be worn to a nice dinner without being too over the top. I actually ended up switching the lips on this look and I actually love the second lip better! Who says you can wear a bold with bold lips, right? Makeup is all about creating your own rules! See below for all the products I used as well as a step by step on the eye look! Face Foundation: Kat Von D Lock it Tattoo (so far this is one of my faves for full coverage cause my entire chin was covered in marks here) Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer for Contour: L. A. Girl “Toast” Bronzer: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Blush: Hourglass ethereal glow Highlight: Becca Cosmetics Opal Lips Lips: MAC Cosmetics Velvet Teddy Eyes Lashes: House of Lashes Boudoir Lite Eyes: Morphe 35O Palette along with Huda Beauty Original Rose Gold Palette Eyebrows: Anastasia Dip Brow “Dark Brown” as always! Create the eye look: Blend an orange toned brown in the transition area Add a chocolate brown to the outer thirds Use concealer to carve out the center of the lid Use #blessed from the original huda beauty palette and pat it over the concealer Top it off with “moonstone” from the huda beauty palette I used Becca “opal” as my inner corner highlight You can use whatever palettes you have to create this look! All you need is a transition shade, a highlight shade, a deep brown, and a gold/white shimmer! What’s your favorite type of trendy eyeshadow? Currently working on mastering the cut crease. My Travel Checklist + Printable
The most annoying thing about traveling is packing! If you’re a procrastinator like me then you are probably trying to pack everything the night before! I always have to make a checklist to make sure I haven’t forgotten anything. I wanted to share some of my travel essentials with you all!
Tips for Taking your Own Fashion Photos
#1 Get the Proper Equipment First things first you’ll need a camera. A lot of people start off by taking pictures on their phone BUT it definitely doesn’t compare to a professional camera. The pictures are so clear and nice when you take pictures with a professional camera. I personally like Canon but when I take pictures myself I use my Sony alpha 5000. Second: You need a tripod. I got one from amazon (~$20) and it comes with an attachment for your phone if you’d like. It comes with the screw to screw the bottom of the camera with. The one I have isn’t super sturdy like the really expensive ones but its good for what I need. If you have a heavier camera like a Canon then you might want to invest in a different tripod. The only downside to the one that I have is that its a little short so it catches the shadows on my face really weird. I’d recommend getting a tripod that is AT LEAST 6 feet tall or more. Remotes? I use the sony alpha 5000 and it has a three second timer so I just use that. I can also press a button on my phone to take pics on my sony (cool right?). Lastly, there are remotes that you can use to just press a button and then take the picture from the camera. Use a camera that has the flippable LCD so you can see what you are actually doing. #2 Location If you’re choosing to shoot indoor (like in your house) choose an area with a nice background because pictures tell a story. Personally I like to use a plain wall so there’s not too much going on besides my main focal point (usually me). Outdoors: I like to choose somewhere that’s not too busy so not that many people are staring. I found winter park (park ave) to be a good location because so many people take pictures there that they are already used to it so people aren’t staring as much. Also, Mount Dora is a really nice area to take pictures. I took the pictures from my last post in Mount Dora. #3 Using the Timer… Timer: with the three seconds you have like two seconds to pose so think of what post you want to do really fast so you can get in frame…
My Favorite Summer Print
I remember this print being around when I was in highschool (like 6+ years ago). Isn’t crazy how styles constantly come back around? For example, high waisted pants/jeans, which I’m totally glad for! The name of this print is called gingham print and I’ve been LOVING it! It’s so pretty and chic! I think it’s a print that you can dress up or down.
