Glitter Injections is a company that is all about the glitter! Being a sparkle lover, I had to test them out! I saw they were having a sale so I bought two pressed glitters and a glitter liner! Glitter liner: I love the glitter liner. The brush has a silicone tip so its easier to load up on the glitter. Also, I believe it is more pigmented than the Urban Decay glitter liner so I definitely recommend! The liner also does not budge when it’s set in place and doesn’t peel off like the ones from NYX (save your $$$ and don’t buy the NYX glitter liners!) Pressed glitter: I bought the shades “pretty in pink” and a gold shade (can’t remember the name – sorry). They are super pretty and easy to use. They are pigmented and stay in place. It gives you the glitter and pigmentation that you get when using real cosmetic glitters without the mess of using them! These can be used on both the face and body and a little goes a long way. Make sure you have a Z palette to put them in if you decide to buy! If you want to give them a try they have some of their pressed glitters on sale right now so click here. LETS GET INTO THE MAKEUP WOOHOO! So this is not a traditional cut crease and I’m not sure what to call it to be honest but I had the look in my mind so I wanted to bring it to life! FACE Foundation: Huda Beauty Faux Filter in “Baklava” Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Bronzer:Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour “Light – Medium” Blush: Hourglass “Ethereal Glow” LIPS Kylie Cosmetics Dolce K Lip Kit EYES Lashes: Ardell Demi Wispies Eyeliner: Tarte Smolder Eyes Eyeshadow Palette: Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette Eyebrows: ABH Dip Brow “Dark Brown” What’s your favorite glitter liner you guys? Review | Huda Beauty Overacheiver Concealer
Covering dark circles, redness and hyperpigmentation, Huda Beauty’s Overachiever Concealer ($30) claims to be the concealer for the girl bosses that need their concealer to work as hard as they do! Here’s what it claims: Good for all skin types Full Coverage Cooling Zamac tip Luminous-Matte Finish Ingredients: Green tea: to erase signs of discoloration and stress Jericho rose extract: soothing and moisturizing properties Long-wearing polymers: gives water resistance and transfer free coverage Quite a lot of claims to live upto right? Well here are my thoughts: I liked: Coverage: it’pretty full coverage. I don’t have a lot of dark circles under my eyes because I try to sleep at least 7 hours a night. However, when I use it to conceal my eyebrow growth it does a decent job. I’d say that Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is just a little bit more full coverage though. It does have a matte finish but it’s not too cakey looking like some concealers can look after a while of wearing. Just like the foundation, it leaves your skin looking flawless! The tip is really nice because you can actually feel the cooling sensation! I have oily skin and I would say this worked really well on my skin and it lasted a long time. I got the shade “Cotton Candy” and I think it’s one shade too light for me so I’ll probably get a dark shade next time. Areas for improvement: I actually LOVE this concealer and I don’t think there’s anything that really needs improvement. If you’re into a full coverage look I definitely think you should check this concealer out!! What are some of your favorite full coverage concealers? Let me know in the comments. Oily Girl Things| Benefit POREfessional Primer
Hey guys! It’s been a while since I last posted. I’ve honestly been in a little rut but I’ve started to watch Sazan on YouTube and her warm bubbly personality brought my motivation back! I almost always repurchase my Smashbox primer when I need a new primer. However, this time I decided I wanted to try something new. I’ve seen the Benefit POREfessional primer everywhere so I decided to see if it really was magic The Good: It does what it says it does! It blurs out the pores and makes em almost invisible. Improvements: I don’t think it’s great at prolonging the wear time of my makeup. I notice that I’m still oily after 4 hours so I’ll probably still stick my good ole smashbox primer! While I think this primer is a good option, I also love the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer and think it does a slightly better job at blurring pores! Hope you guys liked my little review! What’s your favorite primer for your skin type? I am slowly starting to get back onto social media- follow my insta to keep up! @sayeedah_ The Amazon links are affiliate links.
