I remember this print being around when I was in highschool (like 6+ years ago). Isn’t crazy how styles constantly come back around? For example, high waisted pants/jeans, which I’m totally glad for! The name of this print is called gingham print and I’ve been LOVING it! It’s so pretty and chic! I think it’s a print that you can dress up or down.

With black and white outfits I LOVE to wear a bold lip like red or pink. Here I am wearing Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in the shade “Kristen.” I absolutely love this shade. BTW, going to have this makeup look up next week so stay on the look out for that!

I love that this dress is super comfortable. The material is really nice and it is currently on sale. Find this dress here. Unfortunately they only have an extra small left but I’m selling mine in a size medium on Poshmark.

You can wear this dress with a belt to cinch the waist a little but I chose not to because I’m lazy.

I paired the dress with a black chunky heel from Lulus.
You can also pair this with flats for an even more casual look. I think it is absolutely perfect for summer because it doesn’t cling to you while it’s 90 degrees outside and you are already sweaty.

I’m going to be honest about the heels. Shoes that I’ve bought from Lulu’s are relatively inexpensive. That being said.. you get what you pay for. Which I don’t mind for shoes like these. I believe that chunky heels will go out of style at some point so I don’t see the point in buying expensive ones. This way, I can save the money for shoes I really want/classic staples.

BTW!!!! Do you guys like the edits on these pics? I didn’t edit the lighting or anything. I just made the background black and white. I always admire those instas where the background is black and white and the picture is in color. I didn’t add a film grain over the picture because I like it sharp. Anyways … so excited to have just learned this cool trick!

Also, I took these pictures by myself and I thought they wouldn’t come out that great but I’m really loving it! I’m gonna post a blog post with tips on shooting your own pics soon!
