You already know I’m a huge fan of Huda Beauty products, and this setting spray is no exception!

The Huda Beauty Resting Boss Face Waterproof Setting Spray ($32) is meant to give you an ultra matte, waterproof finish. As someone who has oily skin, I’m all about the matte products! Surprisingly, it’s not very highly rated on Sephora because I love this.

If you use this setting spray, I swear – your makeup will NOT budge. The Urban Decay All Nighter Spray is still my number 1 but this one is a very close second. As far as being waterproof, I’m not sure how true that claim is cause I haven’t been swimming or in the shower with makeup on.

Longevity

At the end of a 12 hour day, the oil will come through a tiny bit around my nose, but not too much. Oilyness is inevitable so it doesn’t bother me too much. If I bake my face though, the shine is basically non-existent.

Wear Test – Regular Day – No baking

This was 5 hours in. Still no oil.

Like I said, with baking – this is a power combo! You will not be oily at all! I don’t bake on a regular day though!

Scent

Yes, this is scented, just like her foundation. TBH, I LOVE the scent and literally always get compliments when I wear this setting spray. It’s a fresh floral kind of scent. I’m so tempted to try her perfume just because I love this scent so much.

Tips

Make sure your eyes and mouth are closed when you spray this on because it will BURN if you get it in your eyes!

My 2 cents

This product does have alcohol in it, which every skincare guru says you should NOT use on your face as it dries it out. Therefore, this isn’t something I’d use daily – I’d reserve it just for a special day where you need your makeup to really last!
